Cheers!

Today was the day me and my group finally started filming our commercial for the Arizona drink. Since I was one of the actors in the commercial, I had to change into the proper outfit that we had planned.

I wore a yellow top and black shorts to show that it was near summer and that the weather was hot. I had on earrings that were in the form of a baby. They were cute but I had to take them off so there wouldn’t be any distractions in the ad.

We ended up having to go to the bleachers by the baseball field because of the position of the sun. It wasn't aligned with where Nicole and I were originally going to sit. Instead, it was behind us, casting a shadow on our face. We moved our things to the baseball bleachers and got ready to shoot our commercial.

I went over our lines, fixed my hair, and did any last-minute touchups before I began filming. We used a spray bottle to spray water on the Arizona cans, to make them look cold and refreshing.

It took a few takes to do the first scene because I kept forgetting my line. I was saying “Do you know the place that's red and hot?” instead of, “Do you know that state with the big red rocks?” After a few tries though I was able to get it right and move on to the next scenes.

We then shot the part where Nico and I clink our drinks and cheer for our refreshing Arizona drinks. It was very hot outside, and it was perfect for the purpose of the commercial. I used the spray bottle to refresh myself and give myself a dewy sweaty look which was perfect for the ad.

Here is a photo of me and Nico clinking our drinks.

My group and I decided to do one continues shot to make it easier in the future editing part. We finished just in time before the bell rang. We made a lot of progress today and I have high hopes for the result of the commercial.

It took a while and a lot of mistakes, but we got the scene together and with the second part of filming we will be finished.
