Props

     Since my group is doing the Arizona drink, the only prop we will use the most is the Arizona can. Along with any other insignificant items in the commercial.


Costumes

     Nicole and I will be the actors in the commercial. In the beginning of the commercial we will have comfy, chill outfits on. Once the Arizona can is introduced, we will change outfits into something more bold and eye catching to match our drink. This is to match the 'aesthetic' of the Arizona drink.


Order

First, my team will figure out how we want our commercial to be. We find out our exact setting, basic concept for the ad. Next, we find out how we want to film it and how. What supplies do we use, what angles and direction we film. After we have the footage, we edit our video to fit our standards. We add the music, any transitions, on screen text, and more.


Locations and Ideas

The few locations we will film on is the Senior Patio, the track field, and the vending machines under the staircase. These locations may or may not change while we do the project.  

The main idea is that it is a hot day for two friends and they decide to drink Arizona tea to cool off.


Backup Plan

In any case we can't film in the locations, we can film inside the school building and the vending machines by the auditorium.

Introduction My name is Yaneli Zelaya and this is my second introduction blog.  The previous project we did was fun and it gave me a chance to do something I haven't done before. This time I am definitely doing something new.   One thing about me is that I really enjoy music and the different genres. I don't have a specific favorite type of genre but I enjoy alt hip hop and rock. My current favorite song is Willshire by Tyler the Creator. from his recent album call me if you get lost. I really love the smooth rap and the lyrics themselves. Tyler really created when he made this song.  I can tell this project is going to be a fun experience and I can't wait to get to filming this music video even if it may not be a song I really like.

  After we finished the commercial a reflection sheet was given to me to measure my growth and understanding during the whole project. 1.        How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues?         The AriZona Tea company likes to keep the “vintage” look and style. Their drinks are aimed to look like it’s from the 90s. The AriZona company supports the lqbtq community by teaming with It Gets Better Project. How does your product engage with audiences AND how would it be distributed as a real media text?      AriZona Ice Tea is mostly known with teens and young adults. The old fashion aesthetic of the cans is a huge reason the audience buys the product. To be able to distribute it socially would be through social media apps popular among the audience.
