The Finale

Today was the last day to work on our commercial. The last day to edit. What we needed to do was align the clips properly, finalize what song I am going to use for the ad, and any last touch-ups.

Thankfully, Jordyn edited some of it the day before and picked a good song. The song was Pump It, it is pretty common on social media. I liked the way it sounded and I agreed with it.

Now that the song choice was done, the final touches needed to be done. I was looking for a site we can use to edit our video. I tried to use the OpenShot app. However because I was using a school laptop, I couldn't download it. I ended up using ClipChamp to edit on Jordyn's laptop.

I was revising what we had making sure everything was there. I would give Jordyn my input about the way the clips looked. One of the cuts didn't align with the next clip. I tried to shorten it to see if it will make it look better but it looked worse. I then tried to crop the video and move it slightly down. But, the app I was using didn't let me do that.

I settled on leaving it the way it was as I had to worry about the logo at the end of the commercial. I skimmed through some gifs of the Arizona brand yo stick onto the commercial. Jordyn was helping me and we chose one that had a little transition.

After, I added a blur effect in the background as the camera zoomed out to show the Arizona can. We put the Arizona logo after the blur. The effects were added but it added a weird clip at the end and it was a bit choppy.

The final decision was to leave it alone. The commercial was pretty much done by the end of class.
